Veteran Hip-Hop artist, Tre9 out of Houston, TX is releasing his latest project, “The Farmer” on the 10 year old label, Much Luvv Records March 31^st 2009. This southern styled hip-hop album features some of the biggest names in hip-hop: Pettidee, Shei Atkins, Ras (aka Lil Raskull), B.B. Jay, Lil Keke, and Big Pokey which shows the unifying heart that Tre9 has to bring artists together to spread a positive message to the masses. Tre9 describes the lyrical content of this album in this way, “My lyrics clearly communicate everything about me and how my life as an artist, entrepreneur, producer, entertainer, ordained minister, & husband has been transformed by my faith in Jesus.” “The Farmer” will be distributed nationwide through Infinity Music Distribution/Central South Distribution.
Tre9 performs year round throughout America and around the globe worldwide in schools, churches, venues, prisons, community centers, and mission trips to get out his music and message of hope and positivity to the youth and older generations alike. He has shared the stage with several national recording artists like Lecrae, Cross Movement, KJ 52, Grits, John Reuben, T Bone, Gospel Gangstaz, Canton Jones, Ayiesha Woods, B.B. Jay, and Lisa McClendon just to name a few.
In addition to being the owner of Much Luvv Records Tre9 runs several businesses including 4930 Studios which is an all inclusive audio production, video production, graphic design, and printing services company. He also has for the last eight years ran one of the largest awards shows in the Christian Hop-Hop game, “All Eyes On Me Achievement Awards;” with over 800 attendees and over 30+ artists, retailers, media companies, and ministries getting honored for their part in the Christian Hip-Hop community. Lastly, Tre9 is co-owner of a new hip-hop community mega-site called www.dasouth.com which provides an online presence for the Christian hip-hop music genre.
