Emmanuel, God With Us!
"The light of the knowledge of the glory of God," is seen "in the face of Jesus Christ." He is "the image of God," the image of His greatness and majesty. He came not to be born, but to die to bring God’s truth to humankind, to give us hope, meaning and purpose, that we could know the nearness of the heart of God. He came and revealed the light of God's love, and was "God with us." Therefore it was prophesied of Him, "His name shall be called Emmanuel."
He was treated, as we deserve, that we might be treated, as He deserves. He was condemned for our sins, that we might be justified by His righteousness. He suffered a death that was ours, so we might receive the life, which was His.
We never need to feel alone again when the reality of these words truly sink into the very core of our being! God is with us! He will never leave us nor forsake us!
My prayer for you this Christmas is that you may experience - The revelation of God’s Love wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger, and you will see ... not the babe, but a Savior; not a tree, but a Cross; not a gift, but His Grace and May you continue to find lots of Joy in your journey with Him!
Love,
BECKAH SHAE
Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel.
Matthew 1:22-23
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
